Favorites

These outfits are fantastic. I love Lily's mini (I always love minis b/c I'm 5'2") and her strong-shouldered blazer the most, though.
ps- Those necklaces I ordered got lost in the mail and were sent to New Hampshire... of course that would happen to me...

Total Approval

I feel like I'm playing a creepy stalkerish game of where's waldo?. Spotted yet again: my absolute favorite pair of fall cutout booties - those purpleish-bluish MiuMius.

This is a pretty terrible picture, but Gwyneth looks adorable and, while I am ridden with jealousy, I have to admit that the MiuMius look great with her outfit. And, like most people, I really like her so I think she will give my shoes a good home.

If I can't have them, then I'll stamp my seal of approval on Gwyneth's ownership - because she's the second best choice. (After me of course!)

Marc Jacobs and Marc by Marc

I will be the first to shamefully admit that I haven't been doing a very good job of following fashion week, but when I heard Marc Jacobs put his models in only flats I had to check it out. The first two looks from the Marc by Marc Jacobs line are obviously much more wearable and accessable and I would definitely wear either in a heartbeat - especially that sweater dress (with some boots and leggings!). The ruffled navy jumper made me do a doubletake - it's just so fantastic, same with the nude finale dress. Out of everything fabulous in his collection, I have to say that the lavendar jacket stood out to me the most - I would love something like that for spring to put over a basic every day look.

Workaholic

I recently realized that my wardrobe is lacking some serious accessories this season. After searching high and low at Nordstrom's and Neiman's, I just couldn't bring myself to spend an entire paycheck on a single statement necklace. I do so love this trend, however, so I hit up Forever21 for some cheap stand-ins. Since I am currently suffering daily at a full time job, spending entire days in front of a computer, I saw these gems and quickly made some online purchases.
I simply cannot wait until these beauties arrive. They may turn my neck green, but, until that day comes, I'll look damn good.

Really??

I just wanted to share this photo that I took Saturday night, unfortunately all I had was my phone so I couldn't get very good quality. I was up in North Philadelphia visiting some friends that still go to Temple and we went to a bar in the area that used to be super ghetto, was recently fixed up, but still is filled mostly with locals (not a lot of choices in bar scenes up by Temple). I saw this poster on the wall and couldn't stop cracking up.

It's hard to tell, but take my word for it when I say that this super-ghetto, bad ass looking black guy is labeled below as Hannibal and states that they are trying to remember/honor famous African American leaders.
This was where I said WHAAAT!!?? Hannibal is known to be one of the greatest military leaders of all time, however he was most certainly not black (even if he was he definitely wouldn't look like THAT). This fact is not even so much as disputed. They have thousands of busts of him that depict him as super white and possibly (they aren't sure) even Jewish.

I thought this was absolutely hilarious. Who made this - who allowed this obviously gigantic historic inaccuracy? And even more confusing - who put this up? And why??!! I guess it is, and will forever remain, a mystery.

There they are again!

There's that ho wearing my shoes again! I am so incredibly jealous. If it wasn't raining so hard I would take a trip to Neiman's and slip on a pair - just to make me feel better. With that new nose job, though, at least she looks damn good wearing them. And now that she's been spotted wearing them at least twice, I can rest assured that they are getting the love and attention they deserve.

Hmmm...

So everyone has known for forever that Kristin is supposed to replace Lauren on The Hills. I'm not buying it. The two are so totally different, it's no comparison. Check out Kristin below:Really? This dress is heinous, not to mention her makeup. Lauren would never go anywhere looking this bad. To prove my point, here she is below just running errands:Her errands look is about 100000 times better than Kristin's Hollywood party look. To tell the truth, one of the major reasons I watched the show the past few seasons was the clothes and between Audrina and Kristin, I don't think I'll be getting my fix. Should I even bother to tune in? However, Audrina does always look cute, just not really my style:

Looks like I'll be needing to find a new reality show fashion fix :( Are a lot of fans leaving The Hills now that Lauren is gone? I'm guessing I'm not the only one considering a move.

Randomness

So I'm not feeling too strongly about much of anything right now. I just moved in to a new place, so more of my focus is on interior decorating (and finding a dog!), less is on pretty much anything else. At work (when I'm duh! supposed to be working but I'm not) is where I let my mind wander to fantasies of fashion.

This random post starts off with an adorable photo of adorable Chanel Iman. The white and gold looks amazing, especially with her skin tone. It's so simple, beautiful and classy.

And then there's someone who's most certainly NOT classy, but looks pretty fab to the right. Sienna Miller isn't one of my faves, but she killed it in this little blue dress. I love short short short!

Moving on, I couldn't help but share some photos of some really cute stuff:

First off, I thought this vest was very cool, especially for $69 from H&M. It looks long and luxurious and perfect for a cool fall or not so cold winter day. The real question is: could I pull it off? I feel like this would be something I would buy in a moment of bravery and then never wear.

But then there's this Alexander Wang sweater vest thing that I would most definitely wear! I love the color and shape. $395, though? Maybe...
