I really love leather leggings and how they look with just about anything. However, I know I would look super stupid in them. I'm really short and I used to swim competitively, so my legs aren't really anywhere near being long and lean enough to pull off this trend. So I have settled for looking at street style photos - I love how these ladies dressed their leather both up and down. Also, I wish I could find out where to get a pair like the girl in the last photo. They aren't as form-fitting and are more pant-ish, so I think this is a version of the trend I could actually wear. I'll have to look around for something similar.

So I just recently moved into a new neighborhood (in August) and there is nothing better than getting the chance to explore a totally new area of the city, trying the restaurants, parks, bars, etc. Since I've moved in I've only truly gone out to eat once (b/c my boyfriend currently is unemployed) and that was fabulous. We went to the Belgian Cafe and the food was fantastic. The beer list is ginormous, but the servers were really knowledgeable and helped me out with a choice that I ended up loving. I think it's a combination of the oddly cold winter-like weather here and my work's decision to save money by doing repairs on the heating system today while we're all working (meaning trying to work all day at 55 degrees). All I can think about are sweaters. Super warm and chunky or super cute - I don't discriminate. Oddly, the two Urban sweaters above (last 2) are my favorites but also the cheapest of my choices. The blue motorcycle-inspired is stylish but also comfy since its sweatshirt material, while the off-white one reminds me of a popcorn ceiling and looks super warm and cozy. Really, though, how many sweaters does one girl need?
P.S. My booties came in to Payless today, but I have yet to pick them up. I'm nervous and excited. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping they fit!
Dree Hemmingway looking fantastic. And below: another Miu Miu bootie sighting. I don't think I'll ever stop feeling so jealous about these.
Since when did Payless get so sexy?? I tried to find these over the weekend at the mall near my parent's house, but to no avail. So instead, I'm going to order them online and have them sent to a Payless near my work. I figure it's free to ship to the store, plus if I can try them on right then and there and if I hate them, I'll just return them instantly. Cuz it's possible they could look really cheap - though these pics make them look fabulous.
Since I kept reading that her look was Balmain-inspired, I just had to check out some of the snaps of the recent show for myself. Annnd wow! I love the colors and shapes- especially the low, loose, shimmery scoop tops (which made me wish my boobs away). It's all so slick and sexy without being too "look at me". I love it.
