South of the Border

So I was in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee for the past week - not my choice. Not too many fashionable people spotted there - actually none at all. But I saw a lot of these:

A lot of people got slightly closer to being trendy by wearing leather jackets. We found a leather outlet and I got super excited, hoping to find another leather jacket - or maybe even a vest? Unfortunately, most of them looked a lot like this:

I also saw a lot of dresses paired with Crocs (why?) and full length muumuu-type get-ups (really?). So here's to you, Tennessee, where no one knows what to wear.

Bazaar

So I am a bit obsessed with Lauren Conrad's style. I think we were fashion twins seperated at birth (and seperated by the size of our bank accounts). Her recent shoot for Bazaar was fabulous.

I love the jacket (Moschino fall '09 RTW) and the makeup looks perfect.

Speaking of Moschino, their fall '09 ready to wear jackets have totally won me over. The first one may look fairly famillar, but the second gives me butterflies.
